Hawkinge Cricket & Social Club

Your local cricket club, open 365 days a year

Whether you live in the local community or further afield, everyone’s welcome at Hawkinge Cricket Club. We are a successful club supported by our heritage and the local community, who we enjoy welcoming to the club on match days as well as for community events. We have a thriving, and continuously growing, kids cricket club for your youngsters, too.

After a match, or when you have a spare evening, the social club, which has a fully stocked bar, is open and is somewhere you and your friends and family can relax, socialise and sip a cool pint. We also offer bar and hall hire for private functions, including milestone birthday parties and work outings.

You don’t have to be a member of the club to enjoy our offering – but we do encourage it to bring the community and fans of the Hawks together. Visit our calendar for upcoming matches and events.

Exciting Clubhouse Improvements Underway

Our new building work is going on and should be completed by June. This extra space will give us bigger and new toilets, a new commercial kitchen selling food coming soon, bigger clubhouse giving us more space for our Members and popular events, and a completely refurbished clubhouse with new flooring throughout and a full paint job.

Get the kids involved in cricket

If you have a little champion that’s mad about cricket, you’ll be pleased to hear that, as well as our own successful adult cricket team, we have a developing children’s cricket team suitable for children of all ages.

When you little one joins the team, they’ll get an experience that’s better than your average after-school club. Instead, they’ll be trained by a professional cricket player and receive guidance that will improve their play while having heaps of fun and meeting children of the same age, so that they can socialise and become better sportspeople.

A force in the community

There are many cricket clubs in Kent, but not many can match the community force of Hawkinge Cricket Club.

In true Hawks spirit, we put on regular community events and social gatherings that bring together those living in Hawkinge and the surrounding areas, both members and non-members alike. Community events we’ve hosted in the past include;

  • Quiz and Curry Night
  • Live Music
  • Rounders Match and BBQ
  • 80s Fancy Dress Tribute Night

And much more. We enjoy getting into the seasonal spirit and always have something going on. Our bar is fully stocked and our prices, like ouR community, are a force to be reckoned with. Drop by and see for yourself!

Your go-to for party hall hire in Kent

As well as our array of community events, our social club, including hall and bar, is available to hire for events. We often host milestone birthday parties, children’s birthday parties, work outings such as Christmas dos, wedding receptions and anniversary celebrations, and much more.

Our space can comfortably accommodate up to 100 guests. As well as our bar, which we can stock per your requirements at your request with a deposit, we offer buffet catering and have a network of entertainers that we trust with our events, including local DJs and discos for hire. We’re no stranger to a themed party, either, so just contact us with your enquiry and we’ll see what we can do.
